Congratulations to Mahaney’s September Champion of the Month, Reyes Jasso!
Originally from Tamaulipas, Mexico, Reyes moved to Wichita 24 years ago to be closer to his family in the area. Currently a Senior Foreman in Mahaney’s Metals Division, Reyes has been a part of the Mahaney team for nearly 11 years, and he has been in the sheet metal trade for over 23 years.
Reyes says Mahaney has made an impact on his life by the way the company treats the employees well and ensures safety is a priority… “you know you will go home to your family at the end of the day.” Reyes said that he loves the people he works with, and he loves his job.

Reyes was chosen as the Champion of the Month for his Commitment to Excellence. He says being Committed to Excellence means, “staying positive, representing the company well, and treating everyone with respect.” Reyes added, “as a foreman, you’re the example of being excellent.”
Darrell Johnson, Metals Superintendent, says Reyes is a great example of Committed to Excellence. “He is dependable, usually the first one here, keeps busy and always works hard.”
When he’s not at work, Reyes adores spending time with his 2 precious granddaughters taking them to the park, the fair or going fishing.
