Champion Highlight | Guillermo Nieto Reyes
Congratulations to May’s Champion of the Month, Guillermo “Memo” Nieto Reyes!
Originally from Aguascalientes, Mexico, a small town near Jalisco, Memo moved to Wichita four years ago to be closer to his mom, dad, and younger sister. In 2021, Memo began his career with Mahaney, and he has quickly progressed into his current role as a Roofer. Memo says he found out about Mahaney through his friends who worked here at the time, and he was excited to begin learning a new trade.
Outside of work, Memo enjoys playing sports and video games, going fishing, or spending time with family and friends on the lake.
“People are treated well here,” Memo said when asked about the culture of Mahaney. He went on to add that “Mahaney has helped me build lasting relationships and given me opportunities; I have grown as a person from being here – I look at work differently now.”

He shows up with a positive attitude every day and shares that with his coworkers. Memo says Leading Well means to him “stepping up and stepping in when needed and be the example. Staying positive and learning more every day.”
