Champion Highlight | Brandon Becker
Congratulations to our October Champion of the Month, Brandon Becker!
Two years ago, Brandon joined the Mahaney team as an Ironworker; he quickly excelled in Mahaney’s Steel division and is now a Foreman for Structural Steel.
Brandon knew he wanted to pursue a career in welding after he graduated, but he did not know his journey would lead him to where he is today.
When he’s not working, you can find Brandon fishing or playing disc golf. He also enjoys the time spent with his family, girlfriend, and dog.
Brandon was chosen as the Champion for exemplifying Mahaney’s Pillar: Elevating the Craftsman. At Mahaney, there is no limit for a skilled craftsman, they are honored before kings. To Brandon, Elevating the Craftsman means “creating positive impact for the guys – leading them with humility.” He adds, “our crew respects each other and are genuinely good guys.”
Josh Sherwood, Vice President of Steel, says, “Brandon is an excellent leader that has influenced his crew members to do excellent work. He has a great work ethic and is always thinking two steps ahead to keep the work flowing.”
When asked how working at Mahaney has impacted his life, Brandon said, “Mahaney takes great care of me. Because of my growth here, I take pride in everything I do even outside of work. Mahaney’s positive culture has encouraged me to push beyond what I thought I could do.”
Thank you, Brandon for being a part of Mahaney and your dedication to Elevating the Craftsman!
