Champion Highlight | Nathan McCormick
April’s Champion of the Month is Nathan McCormick! In 2015, Nathan moved to Wichita from Illinois for better opportunities, and Mahaney is where he decided to start his commercial construction career. His brother worked here at the time and told Nathan that Mahaney Group was a good place to work, fun, and something new every day. Altogether Nathan has been a part of the Mahaney Group team for 5 years!
When he’s working, Nathan says he “does everything on the crew and helps where he’s needed”. Outside of work, Nathan enjoys spending time with his family, taking the kids to the park or whatever they want to do.
One of Mahaney Group’s values is “Put Others First” a key principle that in order to gain the trust of others, we must put others first. When we put others first, good things happen.
Nathan believes that this is achieved by “doing our best to keep things moving smoothly helping each other and staying focused – whatever we can do as a team to get the job done better, faster, and get home safe to our family”.
When asked how working at Mahaney Group has impacted his life, Nathan says Mahaney Group has positively impacted him to be able to provide for his family and helps him learn something new every day. Nathan added that he loves being a part of Mahaney Group and he’s excited to see the team grow.
