Champion Highlight | Jaycob Koehn
Congratulations to our April Champion of the Month, Jaycob Koehn!
A Wichita native, Jaycob has spent the past 7 months working as a Metal Building Erector in the Steel division at Mahaney.
Jaycob started his career in applied aircraft and eventually found his way to Mahaney. “This is my favorite job yet” says Jaycob.
“Everyone is friendly and has a good attitude and a good work ethic.”
The youngest of 3 siblings, Jaycob spends his free- time dove and deer hunting. When he is not hunting, you can find Jaycob fishing. He credits his hobbies to his dad.
When asked about his favorite thing about his work, Jaycob says the atmosphere and the people. “Everyone is positive and lighthearted.”
One of Mahaney Group’s values is “Put Others First” a key principle that in order to gain the trust of others, we must put others first. When we put others first, good things happen.
Jaycob believes that this is achieved by working together. “No one is more important than the other person, we are all working with the same purpose.”
When asked how working at Mahaney Group has impacted his life, Jaycob says it has helped him gain a different perspective and gain more respect for the people who do this type of work.
