Champion Highlight | Nick Cusick
Congratulations to our November Champion, Nick Cusick!
Nick has been a part of Mahaney Group for 3 years as a Superintendent/ Project Manager in the Steel division.
One of our Value’s at Mahaney Group is: Creating Opportunities for Others, which is our effort to provide an environment that encourages people to improve their lives financially, emotionally, and spiritually.
“This value fits Nick perfectly. He is always working to create opportunities for others” says VP of Metals, Kyle Harryman.
For Nick, applying this value is simple, “I look to where I can better serve someone and that in return will better serve our customers,” Nick says.
Nick adds, “I think a-lot of opportunity comes from thinking across company lines. What I mean by that is, I think it’s important to understand all the skills that are available to us and seeing how that skill can fill a need.”
When he thinks of the culture at Mahaney Group Nick says, “Overall, I think everyone has the right attitude and everyone has a mentality of getting the job done and getting it done well.”
When he’s not out on the job, Nick loves to play pickle ball and spend time with his family. You can find him at Chicken N Pickle, playing mixed doubles with his sister.
One piece of advice Nick has for those looking to create opportunities, Nick says, “Ultimately, opportunity comes from a desire to please the customer, whoever that is, that’s what really drives opportunity. “
