Champion Highlight | Rudy Ramirez
Starting off 2021 as our January Champion of the Month is Rudy Ramirez! Rudy has worked with Mahaney for 3 years and has been a foreman in Mahaney’s Roofing division for the last 2 years. Rudy has been working in roofing and construction for most of his life, while living in Wichita with his family, and now with his wife and three children. One of Rudy’s favorite hobbies is taking care of, riding, and visiting with his horse each day after work. Rudy and his family often enjoy going for walks and bike rides around the Sedgwick County Park. Rudy has two favorite parts of working for Mahaney. The first one is that he loves doing something different each day and gaining new experiences. The second one is that he enjoys having fun with his team and making the job easier for them on the job.
Mahaney’s core value, “Be Positive”, is represented perfectly by Rudy. “Be Positive” is defined by workers approaching their work with a positive attitude and energy, allowing them to overcome any challenge they face. Rudy does this each day by trying his best to make the work fun for others. He can put himself in other’s shoes and see from their perspective. Rudy knows that if he can make it fun for his team, they will have an overall better experience, leading to the customer having a better experience, as well. Mahaney has impacted Rudy’s life by providing him a consistent financial source and he’s doing something he enjoys every day. Rudy is an amazing role model for Mahaney, and this Champion of the Month is well deserved for him. Congratulations, Rudy!
