Champion Highlight | Antonio Rouse
Congratulations to our December Champion of the Month, Antonio Rouse! Antonio has been with Mahaney since early 2019 and has quickly advanced to a foreman in our Services division. Antonio was born and raised in Wichita and has been in the roofing industry since high school. He moved around different roofing companies but luckily for us, he settled at Mahaney. He immediately noticed Mahaney was different than other roofing companies he had been with before, noting, “It is a good company overall, way better than where I have been before.” Antonio’s favorite parts about his job are that it provides him a chance to work outside and that he is doing something different each day. The thing he enjoys most about Mahaney is the culture. He loves that the company and supervisors want to help every employee grow and be the best they can be. Antonio now views his coworkers and supervisors as a “second family.” During his spare time, Antonio enjoys spending time with his friends and family, but mostly doing anything outdoors with his two boys. They really enjoy going to the park and camping at the lake.
One of Mahaney Group’s core pillars is “Relentless Problem Solvers.” This pillar represents our workers’ ability to solve the most difficult problems by putting forth their best effort. Antonio is an excellent role model for this. He is able to solve any problem by using his wide skill set and critical thinking. Antonio believes Mahaney can positively impact any employee’s life by saying this, “If you are willing to put the time and effort in, Mahaney will take care of you.” One of Antonio’s favorite things about being a foreman is that he gets a chance to help guide his crew and hopefully help them advance, just like he did. This mindset comes from Antonio having a great mentor and foreman, Gerald Martinez, who helped Antonio grow and thrive into the foreman he is now. Mahaney is incredibly fortunate to have you on our team, Antonio. Congratulations!
